Was the Secret Service Complicit in the Assassination of JFK?

by Prof. Joseph Valvano

“In the councils of Government we must guard against the
acquisition of unwarranted influence…by the Military /
Industrial Complex. The potential for the disastrous rise
of misplaced power exists and will persist… We must never
let the weight of this combination endanger our Liberties
or Democratic processes. We should take NOTHING for granted.”
President Dwight D. Eisenhower in his Farewell Address

“The function of PROPAGANDA is not to make an objective study
of the truth…it must confine itself to a few points and
repeat those points over and over…only after the simplest
ideas are repeated thousands of times will the masses finally
remember them and accept them as the TRUTH. It is not truth
that matters, but VICTORY.”
Adolf Hitler

“But nobody reads. Don’t believe that people read in this country…”
There will be few professors that will read the record. The
public will read very little.”

{A} THE GREATEST THREAT TO THOSE WHO WOULD SEEK TO UNDERMINE A NATION’S
DOMOCRACY IS THE UNWAVERING ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TRUTH.

(1) To those who have done the deep, thorough research into the murder of
President Kennedy, all available, solid evidence that has “not” been
sealed away from the American people by their Government under the
claims of “National Security,” indicates that:

a. Secret Service protection for JFK was literally “stripped away”
even before JFK went to Dallas, as well as, when he rode in that motorcade
in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963.

(2) In spite of the denials of those “Coincidence Theorists,” who support
the claims of the illegitimate Warren Commission, which in fact was
founded upon the commission of a criminal act and which violated the
“Constitutional Laws” of the State of Texas:

a. Secret Service complicity can be brought into consideration based upon
the following actions by the Secret Service that allowed for the successful
assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas, on November 22, 1963.

[I] PRESIDENT KENNEDY WENT TO DALLAS WITH A “NEW TEAM” OF SECRET SERVICE
AGENTS ASSIGNED TO PROTECT HIS LIFE.

(1)  As indicated in Mark Lanes’s book, “Last Word,” within 60 days of
JFK’s trip to Dallas, 11 of the most experienced Secret Service agents,
who had been assigned to protect JFK from the time he was a Presidential
Candidate:

a. suddenly, either asked for and received “transfers” off the Dallas trip
or were given new, different assignments by the Secret Service.

(2) Therefore, JFK went to Dallas with a “new team” of SS agents protecting
him, even with over 150 threats against JFK’s life having been made
concerning his trip to Dallas.

a. Again, why were those SS agents who had been protecting JFK, since he
was a Presidential Candidate, suddenly be ASKING for transfers or being
given new, different assignments, just before JFK’s trip to Dallas:

b. and why were these transfers and new assignments GRANTED by
the Secret Service to these specific SS agents, who had been protecting
JFK from the time he was a Presidential candidate, until just before
he went to Dallas?

(3) The driver of JFK’s motorcar, William Greer, was a “new driver,”
who had never been assigned to drive the Presidential Limousine
before the trip to Dallas.

a. SS agent Roy Kellerman, who was the head of the SS Detail for
planning SS protection for the Dallas trip, was a “replacement”
agent for the original Head of the White House Detail, SS agent
Gerald Behn, who suddenly took a “vacation leave,” which removed
him from being in charge of SS protection for the Dallas trip.

(4) Why on this trip to Dallas, with FBI and SS knowledge that
“assassination hit teams” were potential threats to JFK’s life
involving his planned trips to Chicago and Miami just before his
trip to Dallas:

a. was a “new driver” and a “new head” of White House Detail
protection suddenly put in place for this Dallas trip and why
was a new team of SS agents put in place to protect JFK on
this trip to Dallas, especially with over 200 threats to
JFK’s life?

[II] SECRET SERVICE PROTECTION FOR PRESIDENT KENNEDY WAS “STRIPPED AWAY,”
WHICH ALLOWED FOR A SUCCESSFUL ASSASSINATION OF JFK.

(1) As JFK’s Presidential limousine was about to leave Love Field for his
motorcade through Dallas, SS agent Emory Roberts, the Commander of the SS
agent’s in the follow-up car:

a. ordered SS agents Donald Lawton and Henry Rybka, who had been assigned
to be on the right and left sides of JFK’s motorcar for standard SS side
protection of the President, to both come back to the SS follow-up car,
leaving “no SS protection” for JFK from a possible gunshots coming from
the sides of the motorcar.

(2) In fact, this action was caught on film and one can witness the
frustration of SS agent Lawton, who raises both hands in an outstretched
position and then drops them to his sides in what appears to be exasperation,
as he is made to give up his position to be at the side of JFK to offer
protection to the President. Why was Secret Service protection removed
from the sides of JFK’s motorcar by Commander Emory Roberts?

(3) As stated within the Secret Service Manuel for the protection of a
President, it was standard SS protection to have a SS agent on each side
of the motorcar and on each side of the “back bumper” of the Presidential
Limousine, but “Commander” Emory Roberts prevented any SS agents from
taking their protective positions:

a. by ordering ALL agents to be in the Secret Service follow-up car,
thereby effectively removing ALL Secret Service protection from the
sides and the back of JFK’s motorcar.

(4) If SS agents had been in their proper positions on both sides and
on the back bumper of the Presidential limousine, their presence there
could have possibly effectively blocked gunshots fired at JFK from the
sides and/or the rear of the motorcar. Why was this action done, when
it violated standard Secret Service protection of the President in Dallas?

(5) There are those who argue that it was NOT unusual for SS agents to NOT
be stationed at the sides or on the back bumper of the Presidential car and
they refer to other times, when this was done during JFK’s Presidential
motorcades.

a. But what these people do NOT understand is that covert, black
operations are done by “professionals” within the Military / Intelligence
Complex, who know how to plan very well to successfully carry out their
missions.

b. Therefore, it would be important to set a “precedence” for Secret Service
agents to NOT be at the sides or on the back bumper of the Presidential
car in motorcades just prior to the trip to Dallas, for the exact reason
that:

a. the assassination in Dallas would NOT glaringly stand out as UNUSUAL
Secret Service action in the protection of President Kennedy, who
from all fact based research was a “MARKED MAN,” when he went to Dallas

(6) Also, one must keep in mind that the Secret Service was well aware of the
fact that there were over 200 threats to the life of  JFK, if he came to Dallas,
as well as the fact that “assassination plans” had been in place dealing with
JFK’s planned motorcade trips in Chicago and in Miami, both of which had to
be cancelled.

a. But in dealing with JFK’s motorcade in Dallas, the least, most negligent
Secret Service protection was provided to JFK, KNOWING full well that JFK’s
life could be in “grave danger” in Dallas.

(7)  As JFK’s limousine travelled in the motorcade through Dallas, especially
when his limousine entered Houston Street and turned onto Elm Street, the
motorcycle police escort remained, not at the left and right sides of the
Presidential limo, but instead dropped behind the rear of JFK’s motorcar.

a. President Kennedy entered what would become the “KILL ZONE” with
no police protection and no Secret Service protection anywhere around
the front, at the sides or on the back bumper of his motorcar. Why would
this be done with clear knowledge that a number of threats had been made
against the life of JFK, if he came to Dallas?

(8) Essentially, all those Secret Service agents in the motorcade, who were
assigned to protect JFK, “stood down,” all except SS agent Clinton Hill,
who, when the shots were fired, leaped from the Secret Service car, ran to
and mounted the trunk of JFK’s motorcar, seeking to PROTECT JFK with his
body.

a. The fact that SS agent Hill was able to run after and catch up to JFK’s
motorcar shows just how SLOW JFK’s motorcar was moving, which highly
contributed to his successful assassination.

(9)  The claim by the Secret Service that JFK had ordered SS protection
away from his limousine was simply not true. JFK had never given orders
to the Secret Service on how they can or should protect him and he did
NOT do it for his trip to Dallas. Neither did he order that the the bubble
top be removed from his limousine that fateful morning.

(10) These claims by the Secret Service were blatant lies, false-hoods, to
disseminate disinformation to mislead the public. If the SS was capable
of lying about this, then whatever the Secret Service had to say about
JFK’s assassination can not be trusted and can now be brought into
question.

[III] AS SHOTS WERE FIRED AT PRESIDENT KENNEDY, THE SECRET SERVICE AGENTS
DRIVING THE PRESIDENTIAL LIMOUSINE “DUCKED DOWN” AS JFK WAS HIT BY BULLETS.

(1) JFK’s limousine was travelling at a speed of less than 11 miles per
hour just before the shots were fired at him, which violated SS codes
of protection of a President while riding in a motorcade. As the shots
were fired at JFK, “new driver” William Greer dropped the speed of the
motorcar to what many witnesses said was nearly a “complete stop.”

(2) The motorcar was going “slow enough” that SS agent Clinton Hill was
able to run from the SS follow-up car and actually jump onto the trunk
of the Presidential limousine. Why was the motorcar moving so slow
and why did it come to a stop or a near stop as the shots were being
fired at JFK??

(3) From all the available pictures and films of the assassination of
JFK, both SS agents William Greer and Roy Kellerman, who were sitting
in the front seat of the limousine, “Ducked Down” towards the dashboard
when the shots were fired at JFK. WHY??

a. A slaughter was taking place in the back seat of the limousine.
The President of the United States and the First Lady were being
shot at in the back seat. The Governor of the State of Texas and
the First Lady of Texas were being shot at in the jump seat.

(4) But these SS agents who took an oath to take all measures necessary
to protect the President, instead “DUCKED DOWN” in the front seat,
slowed the limousine to a near complete stop and did NOTHING to
protect the life of JFK, his wife, the Governor of Texas, John
Connelly, nor his wife.

(5) Why was there no appropriate action taken against the actions and
inactions of William Greer and Roy Kellerman by the Secret Service??
Why were their actions and inactions not addressed by the Warren
Commission, the House Select Committee on Assassinations or our
National News Media??

[IV] THE NEW TEAM OF SECRET SERVICE AGENTS ASSIGNED TO PROTECT JFK
“STOOD DOWN” AS SHOTS WERE FIRED AT PRESIDENT KENNEDY.

(1) There were eight SS agents in the Secret Service follow-up car
behind JFK’s limousine. When the shots were fired at JFK, SS Commander
of the follow-up car, Emory Roberts, “ORDERED” all SS agents in the
follow-up car to “NOT MOVE!!” In giving this order Commander Roberts
prevented any SS agent in the follow-up car from possibly saving the
life of JFK.

a. So not only did Commander Emory Roberts remove SS protection from
the sides and the back bumper of JFK’s limousine at Love Field, but
he even prevented any SS protection to be offered to JFK or any of the
other passengers in the back seat of the motorcar by the SS agents in
the Follow-up car as well.

(2) Only one SS agent, Clinton Hill, who was assigned to protect the
First Lady, Jackie Kennedy, disobeyed Commander Roberts’ order to “Not
Move,” broke ranks from the SS follow-up car and ran to the Presidential
motorcar, trying to take some action to save the life of JFK and /or his
wife.

a. Why did no other SS agent take any action to perform their duty as
they had sworn to do and try to save the life of the President?

(3) Of the 10 Secret Service agents, who were in the motorcade,
2 in the front seat of JFK’s motorcar and 8 in the SS follow-up car,
all but 1 agent had been out drinking at a nightclub until 3:00 am.
in the morning, before JFK was killed, which was a violation of SS
rules in the protection of the President of the United States.

(4) Of those 10 SS agent assigned to protect President Kennedy
in Dallas, 9 of these SS agents took “NO ACTION” to protect JFK
in Dealey Plaza.

a. Two of those SS agents who were sitting in the front seat,
the closest to JFK, “Ducked Down” towards the dashboard, as
the shots were fired, while slowing the motorcar down to at
least a near complete stop.

(5) The SS follow-up car, which was supposed to be at least 5 feet
away from the back bumper of JFK’s limo, was nearly 25 feet away from
JFK’s motorcar.

a. All of these “actions and inactions” were a complete “VIOLATION”
of Secret Service codes and rules in the protection of the President
of the United States.

b. Why was no action taken to address the inactions of this SS White
House Detail which violated numerous SS protection codes for protecting
the life of the President of the United States?

(6) Why were no Secret Service agents, police officers, military
personnel or FBI agents stationed in and around Dealey Plaza,
including at the Grassy Knoll, to secure these dangerous location
areas for the protection of President Kennedy?

(7) Why were there 17 open windows in the Depository Building
facing JFK’s motorcade route? Why was there no security protection
on the roofs of the three buildings facing the motorcade route?

[V] THE “NEW TEAM” OF SECRET SERVICE AGENTS ASSIGNED TO PROTECT
PRESIDENT KENNEDY “HIJACKED” JFK’S BODY FROM PARKLAND HOSPITAL
WITH GUNS DRAWN, WHICH CONSTITUTED THE COMMISSION OF A CRIME.

(1) When JFK was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital and
pronounced dead, this “new team” of Secret Service agents,
led by Roy Kellerman, removed JFK’s body from Parkland
Hospital at gunpoint.

a. Dr. Earl Rose, the forensic pathologist at Parkland Hospital
tried to stop these SS agents from removing JFK’s body, by
indicating that the removal of the President’s body was in
“violation” of the Constitutional laws of the State of Texas,
which constituted a “criminal act.”

(2) Dr. Rose was pinned against a wall with a gun pointed
to his head and JFK’s body was forcibly removed by the SS team.
In every sense of the word, JFK’s body was “hijacked” out of the
State of Texas by this “new team” of Secret Service agents.

a. They took no action to protect JFK, but took extreme, hostile,
aggressive action to get his body out of Dallas, Texas at gunpoint
as fast as possible, even knowing that they were violating state
laws and committing a “criminal act” in doing so. WHY??

(3) Such action by this “new” Secret Service team prevented the State
of Texas from having access to JFK’s body, thereby, preventing the
State from both performing the official autopsy on JFK’s body, as well
as conducting the official investigation into JFK’s assassination, as
required by the State Laws of Texas.

(4) If this had “not” been done, the autopsy doctors appointed by
the State of Texas would have discovered exactly what all the doctors
who attended to JFK at Parkland Hospital had claimed:

a. which was that the shots that inflicted JFK’s throat and head wounds
came from the “FRONT” of JFK, not from the rear, which would have
meant that at least two gunmen fired at JFK.

b. This would have destroyed the credibility of the Warren Commission,
the Secret Service, the FBI, the Dallas Police and the official position
taken by our national news media that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone
“No Conspiracy.”

[VI] THE CHARGES OF SECRET SERVICE AGENT ABRAHAM BOLDEN THAT
SECRET SERVICE AGENTS ASSIGNED TO PROTECT JFK IN DALLAS HATED
THE PRESIDENT, CLAIMING THAT HE WAS “BAD” FOR THE COUNTRY AND
THAT THEY WOULD NEVER “TAKE A BULLET” FOR HIM.

(1) When JFK was President, he recommended SS agent Abraham
Bolden to be added to the SS White House Detail, since he would
become the first black SS agent to ever be placed on the SS White
House Detail.

(2) In his excellent book, “Survivor’s Guilt: The Secret
Service and the Failure to Protect President Kennedy,” Vincent
Palamara points out that SS agent Bolden had reported to Chief
of the Secret Service, U.E. Baughman that SS agents of the White
House Detail were reporting for duty “while in a drunken state,”
which could compromise the safety of President Kennedy due
to the “laxity” of SS agents around the President.

a. SS agent Bolden later took his concerns to SS Chief John
Rowley. In each case “nothing” was done to look into or address
these issues. Why?

(3) In their well researched books both Mr. Lane and Mr.
Palamara indicated that SS agent Bolden had stated that
those new SS agents, who were brought onto the White
House Detail team as the trip to Dallas was being planned,
were mostly from the South and had what he believed were
racist attitudes based upon comments he heard them make
about JFK, including such statements as:

“JFK is a Nigger lover;” “JFK is screwing up the country;”
“If shots were fired at him (JFK), I would take no action;”
I would “never take a bullet for him;” they would “resign
from the Secret Service rather than give up their lives for
him.”

(4) After the assassination of JFK, SS agent Bolden
appealed to the Warren Commission to be allowed to
testify before them about what he knew and experienced
while on the White House Detail, but he was never called
before the WC to give testimony.

a. SS Agent Bolden was then transferred to the Chicago
branch of the Secret Service, where he was later charged
by the Secret Service with seeking to sell a government
document in exchange for money.

(5) SS agent Bolden was then found “guilty” in court and
although the case against him was appealed, his appeal
was denied by a Superior Court. Bolden was then sentenced
to 6 years in Federal prison.

a. New evidence as well as evidence originally ignored by
the courts indicated that Abraham Bolden was framed, seemingly
punish him and silence him for the statements that he had
made which was very detrimental to the reputation of the
Secret Service after JFK was assassinated. Why?

[VII] PRESIDENT KENNEDY AND ATTORNEY GENERAL ROBERT KENNEDY
DID “”NOT TRUST” THE SECRET SERVICE AND SOUGHT TO PLACE THE
AGENCY UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, WHICH
WAS A GREAT THREAT TO THOSE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL WITHIN
THE SECRET SERVICE.

(1) It was known within the ranks of the Secret Service that
both JFK and Attorney General, Robert Kennedy did not trust
the Secret Service at its highest level.

a. At a time before the Dallas trip, JFK both fired and forced
into retirement such high profile members of the SS as U.E.
Baughman, Chief of the SS; Russell Daniels, Deputy Chief of
the SS and A. Gilmore Fluse, Assistant Sect. of the Treasury
creating deep hostility towards the Kennedys within the highest
ranks of the Secret Service and the Treasury Department.

(2) In fact, JFK and Robert Kennedy decided to remove responsibility
for the protection of the President from the Secret Service and
place that protection under the control of the FBI:

a. Thereby, as Attorney General of the Justice Department, Robert
Kennedy would be in charge of the protection of his brother, the
President of the United States.

(3) In February, 1963, the Kennedy Administration introduced
a bill, HR 4158, which would, ultimately, change the procedures
and responsibility for selecting those who would guard the
President from that of the Secret Service to the Justice
Department and thereby, to the Attorney General, Robert
Kennedy.

(4) Bill HR 4158, was a major threat to the very “existence”
of the Secret Service, which would have either been disbanded
or transferred over to the Treasury Department.

a. It seems that the events that took place in Dallas, the
assassination of JFK, assured the survival, the continued
existence of both the Secret Service and the position of
power for all those SS agents of high rank within the Secret
Service. The bill, HR-4158, was defeated in the Congress
after the assassination of JFK in Dallas. Why??

[[VIII] A NATION PROPAGANDIZED INTO A STATE OF DEEP DENIAL.

(1) Even today the “Coincidence Theorist” continue to believe
and argue that:

a. all of the solid research and reliable evidence that exists,
indicating that JFK was murdered by a conspiracy carried out at
the highest levels of the Military / Intelligence Complex:

b. is nothing more than a massive set of disconnected, unrelated,
unplanned events that all just happened to come together at the
same moment in time on November 22, 1963.

c. But their beliefs and arguments simply strain the realm of
all Logic, all Reason and all TRUTH to the point of absolute
ABSURDITY.

(2) If one truly loves their country and the future security
of their children, then one MUST ask the hard “Questions”
and demand the TRUTH , when events that threaten the very
foundation of our Democracy do not “stand head to head
and toe to toe” with LOGIC, REASON, the factual historical
record and the TRUTH.

a. To do anything less is a discredit and a threat to the
future Liberties, Freedoms and Security of our children
and grandchildren for generations to come.

b. Our children deserve a better heritage and a more
secure future than this.
